Hot off the press

Lawyers for former National Kidney Foundation (NKF) chief executive T.T. Durai dropped a bombshell at 5.30 pm and said that he has conceded liability in the civil suit and would pay costs.
Damages will be assessed later.

This dramatic development came on the third day of what was expected to be an eight-week trial.

The suit against the rest of the former board members will continue on Friday.

Amazing...... really amazing. Now, I wonder how his daughter feels. I recall reading an open letter from his daughter to the public, appealing to everyone to return the "innocence" to her dad once her dad is cleared of the charge. That was many many months ago. Today, her dad decides to throw in the towel, without making any argument. Oh well ~
