Leaves a lasting legacy

Milton Friedman, a Nobel Prize-winning economist who championed individual freedom, influenced the economic policies of three US presidents and befriended world leaders, has died at age 94 on Thursday.
A believer in principles of 18th century economist Adam Smith, he consistently argued that individual freedom should rule economic policy. He also argued that the government should allow free market to opearte to solve inflation and other economic problems.
I came across his names a handful of times in my university education. If you are memorising your econ notes for exam now, lets pay tribute to this towering economist.
